One day soon, Hannah Amor will begin a successful career as an engineer. Meantime, the 21-year-old junior from Lakeville is building a foundation of success at Purdue Calumet.

The Chancellor’s Scholar and Arcelor Mittal Scholarship recipient complements her rigorous academic study program in mechanical engineering with campus involvement as a Student Government senator, women’s volleyball team member and active in residence life organizations.

“I have not decided what exactly I want to do as an engineer,” she said. “What I do know is that (Purdue Calumet) has given me the tools to succeed, and I intend to prove myself as an engineer. It is important to me that those who have made an investment in me see that it was worth it.”
