Reservation Process

To reserve or request a free ride on the Peregrine Shuttle:

  • Between 8 am and 5 pm visit or phone the Information Center in the Student Union and Library Building 989-2400. From a campus phone dial extension 2400.
  • Between 5 pm and 10 pm visit or phone the University Village front desk 989-4150. From a campus phone dial extension 4150.

Rides can be reserved as far in advance as you know your needs. As is currently the case you’ll need your PUID Card to use the service.

Rides may be available on the spot if the Peregrine Express is available when a ride is requested. You must reserve all rides through the SUL or UV staff.

Rides can also be reserved for off-campus pick-up at locations within the service area. The service area is outlined generally as within Hammond, Highland, and Munster south of I-90 and north of Main Street; plus Indianapolis Blvd., as far south as US Hwy 30 and to/from the South Shore train station in East Chicago.

Riders can be picked up or dropped off on campus at the University Village or the Student Union Library.

In the event you reserve a ride, then no longer need it, please phone to cancel.

Use the Information Center/UV staffs as resources to help arrange this service and understand the potential.
