Women’s History Month events

The observance of Women’s History Month on campus continues through March 31. Remaining events include:

  • Women & Sports: Leadership Skills for Life presentation (8 am, 3/24, FRC 122);
  • Panel discussion about wellness (Noon, 3/25—SUL Calumet Falls);
  • Lecture: “Building Networks of Women at Purdue Calumet and Beyond” by Asst. Professor of Political Science Meg Rincker (5 pm, 3/26—CLO 176);
  • Viewing and discussion of the documentary film: “Miss Representation” (10:30 am, 3/27—Potter, 234);
  • Alumnae panel discussion RE: workforce empowerment; networking to follow (5:30 pm, 3/27—SUL Room with a View);
  • Faculty panel discussion RE: tenure and promotion (noon, 3/28—SUL 321);
  • Assistant Professor of History Tanya Stabler discusses her forthcoming book (3:30 pm, 3/31—Gyte 240).
