Some 40 IPFW associates visited our campus to discuss mutual challenges and opportunities relating to our respective operational units, as well as to learn more about Purdue Calumet.

IPFW staffers accompanying Chancellor Vicky Carwein included representatives from Human Resources, Academic Affairs, Library, Career Services, Student Life, Diversity & Multi-Culture, Marketing/Publications, Alumni Relations, Development and Athletics, as well as faculty members from various academic units.

After a Purdue Calumet overview presentation by Chancellor Keon, informal discussions involving representatives with similar responsibilities from each campus took place in Alumni Hall. A campus tour and lunch concluded the morning meeting.

The 2½-day IPFW itinerary also included visits to Purdue’s West Lafayette campus, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at Indianapolis and Zimmer, Inc. of Warsaw.
