The Administrative and Professional Staff Advisory Committee (APSAC) promotes the interests of Administrative and Professional (AP) staff on campus, while advocating for important issues.
Last fall, the group introduced “Tech Tuesdays”, an opportunity for staff to learn tips and tricks in regard to technical programs they use each day. Topics such as Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel were featured.
Due to the overwhelming success of these professional development classes, Tech Tuesdays are continuing this spring. APSAC invites everyone to mark their calendars for Feb. 19 from noon to 1 p.m.; and March 19 from noon to 1 p.m. Topics will be announced in the upcoming weeks, but some of the requests from participants include Prezi, Qualtrics and more Excel.
