SCHOLASTIC APTITUDE TEST (SAT) ON CAMPUS (ISAT) INFORMATION
The Testing Services Center offers the SAT on Campus (ISAT) to individuals submitting for application to Purdue University Calumet. Test scores are used by Purdue University Calumet ONLY and are not retained for future reporting to other institutions. For a sample study guide, visit www.collegeboard.com.
Registration for the ISAT is required. We are happy to schedule individuals for SAT on Campus testing at the Testing Services Center during our available hours, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Cost for the ISAT is $60.00, payable in the Office of Student Accounts, Lawshe Hall, Room 130.
Payment must be made prior to test administration. We will furnish you with a payment form when you arrive for your schedule test appointment. Upon payment, please retain your receipt for payment and bring it with you to the test. Please note that payment for no-shows is not refunded; should you need to change test dates, payment can be transferred as long as the change is made two days prior to your scheduled administration date.
Testing Site & Report Time: Please report to the Testing Services Center at your scheduled time. The Testing Services Center is located in Lawshe Hall, Room 118. The approximate testing time is approximately four hours.
Bring to the Testing Site:
- Payment Receipt from Student Accounts, Lawshe Hall, Room 130.
- Photo Identification – A driver’s license or school ID will suffice. The ID provided must have a picture. If you do not have a driver’s license or school ID, you can obtain a photo ID card from the Indiana License Bureau. Individuals without ID cannot test.
- Two Lead Pencils – Mechanical pencils cannot be used; only #2 lead pencils are allowed.
- Calculator – Calculators are permitted for the ISAT, but not required. However, the following are prohibited: laptops, minicomputers, electronic writing pads or pen-input devices, pocket organizers, devices with QWERTY keyboards, paper tape printers, talking or electric plug calculators. STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN CALCULATORS. The Testing Services Center cannot provide a calculator.
Parking: Free parking is available in any visitor’s parking area on campus. The lot closest to the Lawshe building is located off 173rd Street.
Special Accommodations: If you need special accommodations, please contact the Office of Disability Services at least ten days prior to testing. The office is located in the Student Union Library (SUL) building, Room 343, or call (219) 989-2455. The office’s TDD number is (219) 989-2454. The Testing Services Center must receive an approved accommodation letter from the Office of Disability Services prior to testing.
