The CIS 20400 test out window for Spring 2014 is:
December 30, 2013 – January 10, 2014
The test out is given via MyITLab online in the Testing Services Center, Lawshe 118. Please note that the test-out must be completed during the test-out window as shown above. No course credit for the test-out can be given once the semester has started.
Cost for testing is $15.00 for the MYITLab access code. This $15.00 code is good for two weeks only, so you must complete the test out within this time frame. This two-week code can be purchased online at MyITLab at your first appointment. No other costs are associated with this exam.
The test has five parts: a 50 question concept test timed at 40 minutes, an Access assignment, an Excel assignment, a Word assignment and a Power Point assignment. The application assignments are not timed. You will have more than one attempt to complete the application assignments and must score 70% or better on the labs in order to pass.
