International Travel Grants Awarded

Keyuan Jiang, Associate Professor of Computer Information Technology, and Lash Mapa, Professor of Industrial Engineering Technology, have been awarded 2010 Purdue Research Foundation (PRF) International Travel Grants. These awards will help support faculty as they travel abroad to present their research. They will be participating in the following internationally recognized activities.

Keyuan Jiang will be presenting the Keynote speech at the “The First International Conference on Networking and Distributed Computing” to be held in Hangzhou, China.

Lash Mapa will be presenting two papers, “Statistical Analysis of the Effect of Temperature on RFID Tag Readability” and “Integration of Vision Technology and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) in a Manufacturing Environment” at the 12th Mechatronics Forum, Biennial International Conference to be held in Zurich, Switzerland.
