PUCCO Student Competition Success

Construction Management and Engineering Technologies students Kimball Cline, Aleksandar Elek, Scott Roberts, Chris Both and John Semko received the 3rd place award at the international competition on “Pervious Concrete Sustainability Report” organized by the American Concrete Institute (ACI) on March 21st in Chicago.  Jose Pena, Professor, Civil Engineering Technology, served as faculty mentor for this team representing the Purdue University Calumet Construction Club (PUCCO).

Thirty-two teams from universities from United States, Turkey, Ireland, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Costa Rica participated in the competition. The prizes were presented by the chair of ACI Educational Activities Committee and the chair of the ACI Student Activities Committee.

Outstanding Student Leader
