Plan of Study

Curriculum

The proposed degree program requires a total of 30 credit hours to be completed. Eighteen (18) credit hours are required for core courses with an additional 9 credit hours of electives. A capstone project course, Directed Project in Modeling, Simulation, and Visualization of 3 credit hours is also required.

The core courses are:

  • Unified Modeling Languages
  • Simulation Techniques
  • Visualization Techniques
  • High Performance Computing
  • Design and Analysis of Simulation Experiments
  • Software Project Management

The unique feature of the curriculum is the directed project requirement in the program. Students will be required to complete projects that are application oriented and relevant to business and industry.
