This degree is intended to prepare students for leadership roles in technology and technology related fields. Students may wish to look at opportunities available at the manager or professional level for their technology field.
One suggested source of information about the employment outlook for degree graduates is the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which maintains the Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH). The OOH may be found at http://www.bls.gov/
Students may want to look at information on Engineering Technicians, Human Resources, Training, and Labor Relations Managers and Specialists, Construction Managers, Computer Information Systems Managers, Industrial Production Managers, and Artists and Related Workers (for Computer Graphics, and Multimedia and Animation). These categories encompass most of the diverse programs in the school, although these broad categories do not necessarily address the cross-disciplinary positions that our graduates might occupy.
Another resource for students is Onet Online. http://online.onetcenter.org/
Interested students should contact Prof. Mohammad A. Zahraee, Assistant Dean for Graduate Studies in the College of Technology, at 219-989-2464, email@example.com, for further information about the program and the plan of study.
