College Entry Test Preparatory Sessions

A series of college entry test preparation sessions will be offered by Purdue University Calumet’s Office of Educational Talent Search, beginning Tuesday (4/16).

The free sessions are scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., April 16, 23, 25, and 30.  The sessions, geared to high school students, are designed to provide participants techniques for preparing for college entry tests like the ACT and SAT, opportunities to complete practice tests, and access to online tutoring throughout the week.  College Board resources and materials will be used during the sessions.  Pre-registration is required and can be accomplished by phoning Purdue Calumet’s Office of Educational Talent Search at 219/989-2460 or 800/HI-PURDUE, ext. 2460.

An Exciting Two-Day College Visit

Visit Indiana’s first college and one of the oldest in America, Vincennes University and Indiana State University during its Sycamore Preview Day Friday and Saturday, April 19-20, 2013. The overnight trip will include college academic sessions and campus tours. To be eligible to attend, you must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average and complete the online My College Plan Questionnaire [Opens in New Window].
