College Entry Test Preparatory Sessions

A series of college entry test preparation sessions will be offered by Purdue University Calumet’s Office of Educational Talent Search, beginning April 2014.

The free sessions are scheduled from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  The sessions, geared to high school students, are designed to provide participants techniques for preparing for college entry tests like the ACT and SAT, opportunities to complete practice tests, and access to online tutoring throughout the week.  College Board resources and materials will be used during the sessions.  Pre-registration is required and can be accomplished by phoning Purdue Calumet’s Office of Educational Talent Search at 219/989-2460 or 800/HI-PURDUE, ext. 2460.

An Exciting Two-Day College Visit

Visit Indiana’s first college and one of the oldest in America, Vincennes University during its Preview Day Friday and Saturday, April 26-27, 2014. The overnight trip will include college academic sessions and campus tours. To be eligible to attend, you must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average and complete the online My College Plan Questionnaire [Opens in New Window]. Accept the challenge to make tutoring with ETS an educational goal!
Purdue Calumet students that are proficient in Math, Science, and Technology will be providing free after school math tutoring, from Monday through Thursday, for 6th-12th graders to aid them in developing their academic skills.
 
 
ETS parents are encouraged to support the pursuit of their child’s educational goals by pre-registering them early:
