College Readiness Curriculum

ETS is pleased to announce the availability of a dynamic college readiness curriculum (CRC) which is available to ETS 8th and 10th grade participants.  Using cutting edge resources to provide instructional delivery that is relevant and relational to participant long-term career goals the CRC design integrates resources and activities that serve to inspire potential first generation college students.

8th grade participants completing the CRC will:

  • have acquired the knowledge and received motivation to complete a rigorous high school curriculum
  • gain an understanding of the importance of postsecondary education as a long-term goal
  • be eager to venture into cutting edge STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics) majors when enrolling into college
  • have access to a willing and able support staff (ETS) to nurture and guide through high school and college matriculation
 

10th grade participants completing the CRC will:

  • have acquired the knowledge base to synchronize diploma goals and graduation plan with postsecondary goals
  • have gained a full undertsanding of  how to access financial aid resources and scholarships
  • gain an understanding of how to be admitted into the college of their choice, including signature majors/programs
  • have access to a willing and able support staff (ETS) to nurture and guide through high school and college matriculation

Individual sessions can be delivered to large or small groups, averaging around 45 minutes per session.  Be among the first participating schools to experience the Educational Talent Search CRC.
