Help Support the Student Convocation

Members of the Student Convocation Committee would like to invite you to attend PUC’s seventh annual Student Convocation on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The event serves as a welcoming ceremony for new and continuing PUC students. Last year nearly 2,000 students, faculty, staff and administrators joined in the festivities.

The formal program will open with brief remarks by PUC Chancellor Thomas Keon. A panel of faculty and students will share their personal experiences as college students and offer insights and observations in Making the Most of Your College Experience.

Immediately following the formal program, everyone is invited to enjoy the Welcome Week Resource Fair and Lunch on the Lawn. Information tables sponsored by schools, departments and student organizations will provide information on their programs, services and scheduled events. There will also be music, food booths, games and give-aways!

This event is a great way to meet Chancellor Keon, members of the faculty and staff and your fellow students. Professors have been encouraged to allow their classes to attend the Convocation, so don’t miss the fun. We look forward to your participation in this event and hope to see you there!
