As a sociology major at Purdue Calumet, you will have the opportunity to work for college credit in your chosen area of sociology. This closely supervised experience will help you see how well the theories you have learned in the classroom relate to real life. The practical work also will enable you to see if you will enjoy or feel comfortable with employment in that area and may increase your chances for such employment.
