Hello! My name is Vanessa Voss, and I’m a new SI Economics 210 Section 01. I’m a Public Relations major with a minor in Visual Communication. I took this course in Fall 2011 and I look forward to imparting a few tricks I picked up along the way with any students who are eager to learn! I thought Economics would be my toughest subject when I first encountered it but I actually grew to enjoy it, what a surprise!. I’m also the vice president of the Public Relations Club here at PUC and love to get involved any way possible with community service and philanthropies. What I hope to accomplish most as an SI this semester is getting more students comfortable with basic Economics and taking the fear out of exam time. Economics is something that we deal with on a daily basis and no matter what major and career you decide on, it is imperative to have some understanding of the world you live in. I hope to see anyone who agrees with me attending my sessions and I’ll leave you with one of my favorite quotes. “It’s not getting what you want, it’s wanting what you’ve got.” -Sheryl Crow…happiness is what you make it!
