Enrollment Verifications

Enrollment verification services are provided for students who receive educational loans, good student auto insurance discounts, medical insurance and other situations in which you need official verification that you are a Purdue University Calumet student.

Full-Time Academic Status

Full-time status is defined by academic load:

  • Graduate Students – eight credit hours or more for fall and spring semesters.  (For summer sessions only beginning in 2009, full-time enrollment verification requires six credit hours or more.)
  • Undergraduate Students – 12 credit hours or more for all semesters

Full-time academic status may be required to maintain insurance coverage.  Paying full fees does not necessarily mean a student is in full-time academic status.

Half-Time Academic Status

Half-time status is defined by academic load:

  • Graduate Students – four to seven credit hours for fall and spring semesters. (For summer sessions only beginning in 2009, half-time enrollment verification requires three to five credit hours.)
  • Undergraduate Students – six to eleven credit hours for all semesters

Half-time academic status of at least six credit hours is required for educational deferment loans.

Less than half-time academic status is enrollment of five credit hours or less.
