With the establishment of the One Book One University Program, the PUC English Department is proud to debut The Peregrine Papers, a collection of the best essays written by numerous divisions of first year students.

The purpose of reading The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks is to expose students to the multiple disciplinary avenues to which a single work can lead. The goal of The Peregrine Papers is to encourage critical thought and expression which is the mainstay of academic life. The culmination of this experience results in the pages that compile this first edition.
