Blackboard Troubleshooting Assistance

Having trouble accessing your course?  Please review this page for some troubleshooting tips.

Special Notes:

  • If you cannot see your course, it may mean your instructor has not made it available for students.  Please check with your instructor to see if they are using Blackboard and if the course is available.
  • If your instructor has made the course available, the course will “open” based on the dates of the course for the semester term; unless the instructor has modified those dates when making the course available.

If the “Resource not found” error is displaying when attempting to access your course through myPUC, it may mean that the instructor has not made the course “available” for students.

Before contacting the Office of Instructional Technology, please check with your instructor to see if they are using Blackboard for their course and if they have made the course available.

Error two:

“Guests are not allowed to go to this course.”

If the “Guests are not allowed to go into this course” error is received, there may be an issue with course enrollment.

First, please check to ensure you are enrolled in the course you are trying to access in PC STAR/myPUC (BANR).

If you are enrolled in the course, please contact the Office of Instructional Technology.
