Brown Bag Seminar – Flipped Classroom (Part 2)

Dr. Terry Trepper, Professor of Psychology and Dr. Sharon Schleigh, Assistant Professor of Science Education, have had successful experience in flipping their classrooms. Dr. Trepper and Dr. Schleigh will provide an overview of how they have engaged students by using the Flipped Classroom model and share their gains and lessons from their experience.

Kaltura

Kaltura is a web-based application that allows you to host and share video and audio files through Blackboard. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to share a video with your students and how students can submit their video assignment in Blackboard by using Kaltura.

Managing/Grading Discussions and Assignments

Managing Tests

In this workshop, you’ll learn some tips of how to prevent cheating, how to set up a test, how to provide feedback to students, how to provide more time to accommodate students who have special needs, how to allow students another attempt after the test is closed, and how to run an item analysis on a test.
