The College of Nursing at Purdue University Calumet is offering the online RN to BS in Nursing students the opportunity to take some of their non-nursing coursework in the carousel format. The non-nursing courses at PUC are formatted in 5 or 10 week sessions for your convenience. These courses are reserved for only online RN to BS in Nursing Majors.
All of the Non-nursing courses are taught in an online class format and are run through the course management system – Blackboard in the myPUC portal.
- Non-nursing courses are not a part of the partnership tuition discount. That discount only applies to the nursing core curriculum in the online RN to BS in Nursing Completion Program.
- Non-nursing courses are set at a flat rate fee which is slightly higher than Purdue’s regular in-state tuition, but significantly lower than out-of-state tuition. This is due to the fact that the enrollment is restricted to RNs in order to reserve your seat and to provide the course in an online format conducive for your program. The cost of the non-nursing courses is currently $1,013.55 and will increase to $1,034.04 by August 2014.
- Students must self-register for non-nursing courses via web-registration. Instructions for web registration are located in the RNBS program handbook.
