Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital Presents Nursing Excellence Awards

Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital awarded the 2013 Jean Ewing Nursing Excellence Award to Laura Pamay, BSN, RN, CPAN, CAPA of Grayslake, Ill., who works in surgical services at Northwestern Lake Forest.  While working full-time in ambulatory services as a perianesthesia nurse, Laura completed her baccalaureate in nursing from Purdue University Calumet.

Here is a wonderful story about one of our former graduates-Jim Gennari (AAS 1993; BS 1998).  He is up award for his heroism which he denies it is heroism and just doing what nurses do.
