Step #4: Using A Web Browser

The following download-able tutorial should help you learn to use a web browser (either Netscape or Internet Explorer). Download and complete the entire tutorial. If you view the file, you will have to use your BACK button on the upper left-hand side of your toolbar to return to the orientation.

Save File Directions

If you would like to save the tutorial to your computer,click your right mouse button on the link above named Using a Web Browser. A short menu will appear. If you are using Internet Explorer, click on Save Target As with your left mouse button. If you are using Netscape Navigator, you will click your left mouse button on Save Link As. When the Save As dialog box appears, choose where you’d like to save the file, then click on Save.If you view the file, you will have to use your BACK button on the upper left-hand side of your toolbar to return to the orientation.

PLEASE NOTE WHERE YOU SAVE YOUR FILE AS THAT IS WHERE YOU WILL HAVE TO GO TO RETRIEVE IT.

Print File Directions

If you just wish to print your file and NOT save it to your computer, just click on the link above named Using a Web Browser. Adobe Reader should automatically load on your computer. In the Adobe Reader program, you will have an icon in the toolbar that you can click on to print. The icon is the third image from the left side of the menu bar on the image below. If you would prefer to use the menu system, you can locate the Print option by clicking once on File, then Print. Print this document in the normal way. (the image below is from Adobe Reader, version 4.0)

You MUST have Adobe Reader (version 4.0 or higher) installed in order to view the above document. If you do not have the software, go to www.adobe.com and download the FREE Adobe Reader software.
