This is only a test!

This is a test of the emergency preparedness communication notification website. If this were a real emergency, a message would appear in this space notifying you of the emergency and provide you direction based on the emergency to ensure your safety.

Please take a few minutes to review the Emergency Preparedness Quick Glance located at www.purduecal.edu/emergency and posted throughout campus.

Campus & ALC Remain Open

Purdue Calumet’s Hammond campus and Academic Learning Center (ALC) in south Lake County REMAIN OPEN TUESDAY MORNING (3/5). However, university administration continues to monitor weather conditions closely.

Should a decision be made to close or otherwise interrupt campus/ALC operations later Tuesday (3/5), that decision will be announced here. It also will be announced by NW Indiana and Chicago radio/TV stations and via the ALERT ME emergency notification messaging service for subscribers.

So continue to monitor this web site for campus/ALC updates Tuesday (3/5). Regardless of the status of campus operations, given that weather and road conditions may vary across our region, please exercise prudence in making personal decisions about traveling to campus.
