923 degrees awarded to spring graduates
Purdue University Calumet spring graduates earned 923 degrees.
According to official figures released by the university’s Office of the Registrar, the graduates earned 226 master’s degrees, 673 baccalaureate degrees and 24 associate degrees.
Additionally, 83 bachelor and associate degree recipients graduated with scholastic honors. Twenty-one graduated with “highest distinction” and 62 graduated with “distinction.”
Graduates of “highest distinction” compiled a grade point index within the upper 3 percent of their class while meeting minimum university credit hour requirements. Graduates of “distinction” compiled an upper 10 percent grade point index while satisfying minimum university credit hour requirements.
Comprising the class are 684 Indiana residents, 207 Illinois residents, three residents each from California and Colorado, five residents each from Michigan and South Carolina, six residents from Florida and one resident each from Alaska, Iowa, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Washington and Wisconsin.
More than 47,600 degrees have been awarded at Purdue Calumet.
