HAMMOND, Ind. – Nearly 100 employers seeking to hire full and part-time employees and student interns will be represented at Purdue University Calumet’s annual All Majors Career and Internship Fair next Friday (2/15) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the campus gymnasium..
Recruiting employers will be seeking individuals with at least a baccalaureate degree or students who are on a baccalaureate degree track for a wide range of positions.
“This fair will provide attendees with exposure to outstanding career opportunities as well as internships,” Purdue Calumet Director of Career Services Shelly Robinson. “Job fairs remain one of the best ways to get in front of employees, make a great first impression and stand out from the crowd. Attendees should dress professionally, bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to deliver their ‘elevator pitch.’”
Admission is free. There is no pre-registration to attend. Other information can be obtained by contacting Purdue Calumet’s Office of Career Services at 219/989-2419 or 800/HI-PURDUE, ext. 2419; or visiting http://webs.purduecal.edu/careerservices/.
