748 degrees awarded to spring graduates

Purdue University Calumet spring graduates earned 748 degrees.

According to official figures released by the university’s Office of the Registrar, the graduates earned 189 master’s degrees, 511 baccalaureate degrees and 48 associate degrees.

Additionally, 59 bachelor and associate degree recipients graduated with scholastic honors.  Seventeen graduated with “highest distinction” and 42 graduated with “distinction.”

Graduates of “highest distinction” compiled a grade point index within the upper 3 percent of their class while meeting minimum university credit hour requirements. Graduates of “distinction” compiled an upper 10 percent grade point index while satisfying minimum university credit hour requirements.

Comprising the class are 638 Indiana residents, 100 Illinois residents, two Michigan residents, two Connecticut residents, and one each from Colorado, California, Florida, Texas, New York and Washington.

More than 45,800 degrees have been awarded at Purdue Calumet.
