PUC to offer discovery, interactivity with summer camp

Purdue University Calumet’s Riley Summer Enrichment Camp will provide local children an opportunity to learn through fun activities from June 13 to Aug. 5.

This eight-week summer program will consist of various projects that introduce concepts of science, mathematics and social studies in an interactive and engaging environment.  The camp is for children ages 3-6.

Activities include observing pond life, exploring mud and sand, discovering the stages of water and participating in obstacle courses.  All activities will be held on campus.

Registration options include weekly, daily and half-day packages.  A $20 registration fee also is required.

Purdue Calumet’s Riley Child Center is located south of 173rd Street, three blocks east of Indianapolis Boulevard.  A free parking lot is accessible by turning south at the traffic light on 173rd east of Woodmar Avenue.
