‘Healing Circles’ suicide survivors support groups to meet Thursday (12/16)

Purdue University Calumet’s “Healing Circles” suicide survivor monthly support groups will meet Thursday (12/16) at 7 p.m. at the university’s Couple and Family Therapy Center, one and one-fourth miles west of campus at 1247 169th St.

All suicide survivors and friends of survivors are welcome to attend. Admission is free. There are three “Healing Circles” groups:

• Adults 18 & older

• Young Adults 14-24

• Youth 9-13

Eighteen-to-24-year-olds can choose to attend either the Adults or Young Adults groups. Advance registration is required for the Youth and Young Adults groups only.

An adult survivor and two therapists will facilitate each group, all of which meet simultaneously for 90 minutes.
