Visit and ‘View Purdue Calumet’ Saturday, Oct. 16

High school juniors, seniors, parents and others are invited to “View Purdue University Calumet,” Saturday, Oct. 16.

The visitation program begins at 9:30 a.m. in the Student Union & Library’s third floor Alumni Hall. Admission is free, but on-line registration is requested in advance at www.purduecal.edu/viewpurdue.

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with Purdue Calumet academic representatives to discuss degree opportunities in more than 80 fields of study and the university’s innovative experiential learning initiative, in which undergraduate students apply traditional classroom and textbook learning to a work-related, real world environment.

The program also will offer opportunities to learn more about admission procedures, scholarship and other financial aid availability and campus life. A campus resource fair is scheduled, as well as a campus tour, during which families can check out Purdue Calumet’s apartment style, student residential community, The University Village.
