Purdue University Calumet’s “Healing Circles” suicide survivor support groups will meet Thursday (6/17) at 7 p.m. at the university’s Couple and Family Therapy Center, one and one-fourth miles west of campus at 1247 169th St.
All suicide survivors and friends of survivors are welcome to attend. Meetings are scheduled the third Thursday of each month. Admission is free. There are three “Healing Circles” groups:
• Adults 18 & older
• Young Adults 14-24
• Youth 9-13
Eighteen-to-24-year-olds can choose to attend either the Adults or Young Adults groups.
An adult survivor and two therapists will facilitate each group, each of which meets simultaneously for 90 minutes.
