Energy Efficiency in Water Infrastructure Innovation Seminar

To inspire the next generation of leaders within the water, sustainability and energy efficiency fields, the German American Chamber of commerce together with the Purdue Water Institute and The Department of Mechanical Engineering is pleased to bring the Innovation Seminar series to Purdue University Calumet on Tuesday, October 29th. Join us for this free event as a delegation of visiting German experts and leading companies present energy efficiency solutions and innovative technologies for the water industry. German Expert Speaker:

Photo of Dr. Andreas HutarewDr. Andreas Hutarew has been a board member for the Chamber of Engineers of Baden Wurttemberg since 2011. He is also a member of the board for ENWA and the European Water Partnership (EWP). In 1971 he graduated from the University of Stuttgart in Engineering; he then got his doctorate degree in Engineering at the University of Stuttgart in 1977. He has been a lecturer at many universities and along with being influential in the consulting of water-intensive industries, he created new patents including: one for rainwater tanks of circular construction (1983), and one for a fish-repelling system with oxy-hydrogen (1996).
