Resumes are living documents that will change often.  Plan on updating your resume every six months or whenever you reach a career milestone or transition.  Once you’ve developed an initial resume stating your most recent credential (MBAE), schedule an appointment in Career Services to have it reviewed.  The staff is more than happy to help discuss tips on developing and showcasing the perfect resume for you.  Questions on document length, transferrable skills, career objectives, work history, accomplishments, etc. will all be answered by the friendly staff.  Additional resources, readings, samples, and books are also available at your convenience.

The PUC Library and the Office of Career Services can provide access to some useful books that can help with your resume:

  • Résumé Magic : Trade Secrets of a Professional Résumé Writer – Library Stacks – Call Number: HF5383.W46 2007
  • Executive’s Pocket Guide to ROI Resumes and Job Search – Career Services Library – Student Union Library Building – Room 349

To locate additional useful books available via the PUC Library, search PULSE, the Library online catalog.  And search the over 500 additional titles available through the Office of Career Services Library.
