MBAE 17 Underway

As MBAE 16 gets set to graduate in February 2015, the MBAE 17 cohort is now underway. Classes for the new cohort began on Saturday, September 6, 2014. MBAE 17 began with 26 students, a 24 percent increase from the year before. There is a nice International mix this year with students coming from Dominican Republic, Haiti, India, Liberia, Mexico, Morocco, and Philippines. The students have very diverse backgrounds including careers in areas such as Education, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Legal, Healthcare, Energy, and Communications. Supporting companies include ArcelorMittal, Baker & McKenzie Global Services, Cadence Health, Cargill, Community Hospital, National Restaurant Association, Walgreens, and World’s Finest Chocolate. The class has collectively over 320 years of professional work experience, so class discussions should be enlightening!

MBAE 16 Study Abroad

The interventional travel for MBAE 16 is a return to Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates: October 11 – October 18, 2014. Companies to be visited include JAFZA, Crown, TBWA, Jumeirah Group, and Lukoil. For the first time, the MBAE group will be joined by some students from the weekday MBA program, who like their MBAE counterparts, will also be using the trip to satisfy a course elective in the form of International Business Practicum. Also, like their MBAE counterparts, the MBA students will complete the required term project and be awarded a Certificate of Completion of International Business Practicum.
