MBAE Student Helps Elementary School Children

Mr. Jack Daswani, current MBA for Executives student at Purdue University Calumet, recently assisted the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Zeta Phi Chapter in West Lafayette, Indiana in collecting school supplies for children in need. Mr. Daswani is co-owner of Apparel Spots, a company that offers custom apparel printing. Mr. Daswani currently moved to the Northwest Indiana area to expand his business and enroll in the MBA for Executives program. Wanting to assist the community, he chose to donate to the school supply drive that provided free school supplies to families in need. With generous donations from companies like Mr. Daswani’s, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity doubled their donations from the previous year. They distributed over $1,300 worth of school supplies on August 16, 2010 to Thomas Miller Elementary School in Lafayette, Indiana. We are very proud of Jack’s concern for the Indiana community.
