Voicemail Issue

We are currently experiencing issues with our Simplified Message Desk Interface (SMDI) between our voicemail server and AT&T. AT&T is aware of the issue and they are working on it. This will impact:

1. Message waiting indicator tones and lights will not work
2. When you dial 2800 from your phone to check your voicemail you will hear the operator message- For now when you hear the operator message hit #, your extension, your pin
3. When calling someone on campus that is away from their desk or office you will not hear their voicemail message you will hear the operator message – for now when you hear the operator message hit #, the extension you are calling, your message
4. When people call your number from off campus they will not be able to leave you a message
