We are currently experiencing issues with our Simplified Message Desk Interface (SMDI) between our voicemail server and AT&T. AT&T is aware of the issue and they are working on it. This will impact:
- Message waiting indicator tones and lights will not work
- When you dial 2800 from your phone to check your voicemail you will hear the operator message- For now when you hear the operator message hit #, your extension, your pin
- When calling someone on campus that is away from their desk or office you will not hear their voicemail message you will hear the operator message – for now when you hear the operator message hit #, the extension you are calling, your message
- When people call your number from off campus they will not be able to leave you a message
