Are you globally minded, or do you have cultural interests or experience working, living, or studying abroad? We would love to hear from you!
World on Wednesdays (WOW) is a casual forum for student, faculty/staff, and guest presentations or informal conversations regarding a different topic of global interest each week (global events/activities, world news, international service/study abroad/career opportunities and experiences, etc).
In previous years, WOW took place every Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Though we will be returning to that original format for Spring 2016, we currently alternate the evening sessions during Fall 2015 with a session from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. every other week!
All are welcome to participate as presenters, guest lecturers and conversation leaders, or to attend as audience members.
All presentation slots for FALL 2015 have already been filled, but we are now accepting presentation proposals for SPRING 2016. Proposals will continue to be accepted until all slots have been taken, so please consider this great opportunity and select your preferred date!
To apply, you may either complete our online submission form, or download a PDF version of the application:
Please return paper applications in-person to the International Affairs Office in CLO 176 or scan and submit by email to Kristen Bunner, International Programming Assistant, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Feel free to contact Kristen should you have any questions about your application.
We welcome your program ideas and hope to hear from you soon!
