Good report card for Peregrine student-athletes
The 2010 spring semester saw 68 percent of Purdue Calumet student-athletes achieve a term grade point average higher than that of their full-time-attending (non-athlete) campus peers. Forty percent of men’s and women’s players earned a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
“We are very proud of our student-athletes’ success in the classroom,” Athletic Director Robert D. Bunnell said. “One of the university’s main goals is to promote excellence, and we will continue to take steps to provide the necessary resources to support our student-athletes in this endeavor.”
