Student Computer Labs
The IS Computer Labs are located in the lower level of Gyte (The Learning Commons) and in the Library. The IS Computer Labs provide the majority of the open computers available for student use.
Library Lab (SULB 200)
The following hardware may be found in the Library lab:
- PCs
- Mac computers
- Black and white printers
- Wall mounted LCD screens with laptop connection (equipment located at public services desk)
- Color printer
- ADA machines
- Copy machines
- Dollar bill changer
- Venda coder machine
- Laptops for loan
Gyte Lab
The following hardware may be found in the Gyte lab:
- PCs
- Black and white printers
- Wall mounted LCD screens with PC connection
- Color printer
- Scanners
- Fax machine for local numbers only
- Binding Machine

All computers in both labs will accept USB (flash drive) devices, CDs and DVDs to store data.
If you do not have a storage device, you may save your work to your personal H: drive (100 mb) and access it from home.
Wireless networking is available throughout campus for those of you with laptops. For information on laptop setup, please ask a consultant in either lab or click on the link below, ‘Wireless Network Access’ and follow the instructions to set it up yourself.
