Information Services is made up of 5 departments, namely: Academic and Research Computing (ARC), Enterprise Systems (ES), Technological Infrastructure Services (TIS), Information Security and Assurance (ISA), and the University Library. The mission of this new division is to provide state-of-the-art computing facilities and tools in addition to a rich array of scholarly and research resources relevant to our campus community. Helping you use these services and products efficiently and effectively is our primary goal.
Academic and Research Computing provides support for academic and research computing at Purdue University Calumet. This includes classroom technology, instructional software, and high performance computing.
Enterprise Systems provides students, faculty and staff with support services that permit easy and secure access to student information.
Technological Infrastructure Services installs, manages, secures and supports core enterprise information technology infrastructure and related services via the following units; Networking, General Server Administration, Desktop Support, Operations, Telecommunications and Customer Service Center.
Information Security and Assurance leads information security efforts at the University level. It creates, develops, and maintains a digital security operation to serve the Purdue University Calumet campus and community.
The University Library is located on the second floor of the Student Union and Library Building (SULB). During the fall and spring semesters, the library is open 89 hours per week including nights and weekends. The library’s electronic resources are available 24/7 via remote access.
