RHA is a student organization whose primary purposes are to represent the residential living facility students in all aspects of campus life, to create opportunities for students to interact, and to provide leadership for change in accordance with the goals of Housing and Residential Education.

General Assembly Meetings

Bi-weekly General Assembly meetings take place for RHA to conduct business by introducing and voting on RHA legislation. Residents are encouraged to attend General Assembly meetings to express their concerns and provide feedback. General Assembly dates and times will be announced during the start of each semester.

How to Get Involved

To become a Hall Representative, residents must apply to run for Hall Representative Elections in September. Hall Representatives are elected by the entire resident population.

Residents wishing to become an Ex-Officio member must apply to be appointed by the Executive Board. Residents wishing to become a resident active member must attend four consecutive General Assembly meetings and actively serve on one RHA committee to receive voting rights at all subsequent General Assembly meetings.

Elections for RHA Executive Board positions take place during the spring semester for the following academic year.

For more information about RHA and how to get involved, contact the Peregrine or Griffin Hall Service Desks or stop by the RHA office located in Griffin Hall, Room 443.
