The National Residence Hall Honorary is a national organization comprised of over 200 chapters on college/university campuses. A NRHH Chapter’s focus is to recognize the top 1% of residence hall leaders for their leadership, academic success, and service to the residential community every year. The NRHH Chapter, with the support of University Village Hall Council (UVHC), will recognize the excellent work of all student leaders within The University Village community.
We have chosen to name the new NRHH Chapter at Purdue Calumet after Melinda K. Dalgarn, the former Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. Its official name is the Melinda K. Dalgarn NRHH Chapter. Mindy will be retiring from Purdue Calumet at the end of June this year. We wanted to take this opportunity to recognize and honor her outstanding advocacy, support, and enthusiasm for The University Village community.
