Why Choose Purdue Calumet’s Honors Program?
The Honors Program at Purdue Calumet fosters networking and a knowledge base that will help you succeed throughout your school career and beyond. You will make new friends and feel valued with the focused staff in the Honors Program, who will work by your side helping you along your school career here at Purdue Calumet, answering any questions you may have as well as helping you network with fellow faculty and students. In addition, you will have the opportunity to attend field trips and outings that the Honors Program attends, such as trips overseas (with Study Abroad programs), trips out of state (such as attending Honors Conferences), trips within Indiana (such as a trip to Turkey Run or other fun events), and events right here in the community (such as the Thanksgiving Potluck at the President’s House). Last but surely not least, the Honors Program offers a scholarship to those who qualify. For in-state students, that amounts to $1,500 every semester for four years, or $2,000 each semester for out-of-state students.
