In evaluating applications, the School of Management is concerned primarily with your capacity for management responsibility. Demonstration of intellectual capacity is a prime consideration; however, close attention is given to indications of personal development which may have a bearing on the individual’s prospects for career success.
The evaluation is based upon a detailed review of the written application, original academic transcripts, graduation index of 3.0 (B) on a 4.0 scale, letters of recommendation from persons who are qualified to evaluate your capacity for graduate study, and the score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). International Students required additional documents(*).
A student who wishes to begin immediately without completing the formal admission process may do so by applying for a Post Baccalaureate admission status. Only 12 credit hours of class work with grades A or B taken under this category of admission may be included on the Plan of Study. The student who begins under this category must complete a regular admissions application to the completion of the initial 12 hours.
Admission as a Post Baccalaureate student does not imply admissibility when completing the formal application to the Purdue Graduate School.
Candidates are required to have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a graduation index of 3.0 (B) on a 4.0 scale. In addition, all applicants must take the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). Students whose native language is not English must submit a satisfactory score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
