Operation Rescue will be held at the Indiana National Guard Center, 2530 E. 173rd Street, Hammond, IN. It will bring together representatives from other Northwest Indiana colleges and universities as well as community agencies and businesses that provide services to assist veterans and enlisted students in transitioning back into the community. This event is free and open to the public and will feature food, entertainment, music, and fun!
One of the measures that FBBP uses to determine effectiveness and success is when students achieve their academic goals. FBBP is proud to announce that for the 2010- 2011 academic year, twenty-two (22) Purdue Calumet veterans and student service members were awarded degrees during Purdue Calumet’s 61st and 62nd Commencement Ceremonies: seventeen (17) bachelor’s; three (3) master’s and two (2) associate degrees. Of the seventeen (17) students awarded the bachelor’s degree, two (2) will begin graduate study at Purdue Calumet in the fall of 2011.
