Fee Schedule For 7-Week Session

 

Employees (Spouses/SSDP), Students & PUC Fitness Center Members – $30 per class/7-week session OR $40 for 2.

Public – $50 per class/7-week session

 

Payment

Payments should be made at the Fitness Center desk located in the Fitness & Recreation Building. Cash or check only.

** Please note that minimum number of paid participants must be met for classes to continue! **

*** Most classes meet twice a week (M/W, T/TH). Classes that meet 1x/week pay 50% of the class fee. ***

Youthful Yoga

When: Monday & Wednesday

Time: 4:00pm – 5:00pm

Description: This fitness-based class combines traditional yoga poses with focused breathing and meditation to improve vitality, flexibility, strength, balance and mental acuity. The synchronizing of breath and movement will reduce stress and create harmony of mind, body and spirit. Modifications and personal awareness make this class perfect for all fitness levels.

Gentle Yoga – AM

When: Tuesday & Thursday

Time: 7:30am – 8:30am

Description: Move slowly and mindfully through the poses of Hatha Yoga. Wonderful class to relax, increase strength and improve flexibility. Make the mind body connection!

Gentle Yoga – PM

Description: Dance yourself fit! A great way to get moving and burn extra calories! Set to Latin dance music, get ready to mambo, cha-cha and merengue! Open to all fitness levels

Premier Pilates

When: Tuesday & Thursday

Time: 6:00pm – 6:30pm

Instructor: Alyssa Wright

Description: This class is designed to improve balance, muscle control and coordination on a mat. Exercises focus on lengthening and strengthening the entire body while improving core stability, flexibility and posture. The enhanced mind/body connection will reduce stress and improve mental concentration. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Barre Basics

When: Monday

Time: 6:00pm – 6:30pm

Instructor: Jan Plesniak

Description: This class utilizes body weight or light weights for resistance while incorporating elements of ballet, Pilates and yoga. Low-impact movement challenges your core stability and balance.

 

FREE Classes

Functional Fitness

When: Monday & Wednesday

Time: 7:30am – 8:30am

Instructor: Tabitha Stills

Description: An exercise class designed for balance with an emphasis on exercises to help with daily living activities.  Come join us!

 

SilverSneakers Muscular Strength and Range of Movement (MSROM)Picture 1

When:Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Time: 10:00am – 11:00am

Instructor: John Bobalik/Tabitha Stills

Description: Muscular Strength and Range of Movement class designed for beginners.  Class attendees will be provided with the necessary exercise equipment.  Participants will be furnished with a sturdy chair, stretch bands, dumbbells and a squeeze and coordination ball.  Put the world on hold, relax and have fun!

 

Lunch Break

Description: The benefits of stretching are numerous, from increased circulation and range of motion to stress reduction. Take a break in the middle of your day, wear your work attire and some comfortable shoes.

Extreme Abs & Core

When: Saturday

Time: 10:30am – 11:30am

Instructor: John Bobalik

Description: A 60 minute, high-energy, hard driving, fast-pace class designed for avid exercisers and fitness enthusiasts. Multiple sets of different exercises with minimal rest between sets in the class format. Come test your core strength with master trainer, Fitness Center Director, John Bobalik! Not a class for beginners.

 

H.I.I.T

When: Monday & Wednesday

Time: 5:00pm – 6:00pm

Instructor: James Perez

Description: A high energy, fast pace, functional class designed to help build muscular strength and increase cardio fitness level. Timed sets of various exercises utilizing multiple fitness tools.

 

Abs & Core

When: Tuesday & Thursday

Time: 4:15pm – 5:00pm

Instructor: John Bobalik

Description: A 45-minute, do what you can do abs & core class designed to challenge your mid-section. Multiple sets of different exercises with rest between sets is the class format. Take your abs & core to another level!

 

All classes are taught by certified instructors and can accommodate all fitness levels.
