Payments should be made at the Fitness Center desk located in the Fitness & Recreation Building. Cash or check only.

Youthful Yoga

When: Tuesday & Thursday

Time: 4:00pm – 5:00pm

Description: This fitness-based class combines traditional yoga poses with focused breathing and meditation to improve vitality, flexibility, strength, balance and mental acuity. The synchronizing of breath and movement will reduce stress and create harmony of mind, body and spirit. Modifications and personal awareness make this class perfect for all fitness levels.

Gentle Yoga – PM

When: Tuesday & Thursday

Time: 12:00pm – 12:45pm

Description: Move slowly and mindfully through the poses of Hatha Yoga. Wonderful class to relax, increase strength and improve flexibility. Make the mind body connection!

 Zumba

When: Monday & Wednesday

Time: 5:15pm – 6:00pm

Description: Dance yourself fit! A great way to get moving and burn extra calories! Set to Latin dance music, get ready to mambo, cha-cha and merengue! Open to all fitness levels.

Premier Pilates

Time: 5:15pm – 6:00pm

Description: This class is designed to improve balance, muscle control and coordination on a mat. Exercises focus on lengthening and strengthening the entire body while improving core stability, flexibility and posture. The enhanced mind/body connection will reduce stress and improve mental concentration. Suitable for all fitness levels.

Functional Fitness

Description: An exercise class designed for balance with an emphasis on exercises to help with daily living activities.  Come join us!

Time: 10:00am – 11:00am

Instructor: John Bobalik/Tabitha Stills

Description: Muscular Strength and Range of Movement class designed for beginners.  Class attendees will be provided with the necessary exercise equipment.  Participants will be furnished with a sturdy chair, stretch bands, dumbbells and a squeeze and coordination ball.  Put the world on hold, relax and have fun!

Creative Movement

When: Monday & Wednesday

Time: 11:30am – 12:00pm

Description: This class utilizes bodyweight or light weights for resistance while incorporating elements of ballet, Pilates and yoga. Low-impact movement challenges your core stability and balance.

Extreme Abs & Core

Time: 10:30am – 11:30am

Instructor: John Bobalik

Description: A 60 minute, high-energy, hard driving, fast-pace class designed for avid exercisers and fitness enthusiasts. Multiple sets of different exercises with minimal rest between sets in the class format. Come test your core strength with master trainer, Fitness Center Director, John Bobalik! Not a class for beginners.

Advanced Abs & Core

When: Monday & Wednesday

Time: 4:15pm – 5:00pm

Instructor: John Bobalik

Description: A 45-minute, do what you can do abs & core class designed to challenge your mid-section. Multiple sets of different exercises with rest between sets is the class format. Take your abs & core to another level!

Beginning Abs & Core

When: Monday & Wednesday

Time: 12:15pm – 12:45pm

Instructor: John Bobalik

Description: A 30-minute, beginning level exercise abs & core class designed to tone your mid-section.  A prerequisite for the Advanced Abs & Core Class. Wake up your abs and core!

H.I.I.T.

When: Monday & Wednesday

Time: 6:00pm – 6:45pm

Instructor: James Schmagranoff

Description: A high energy, fast pace, functional class designed to help build muscular strength and increase cardio fitness level. Timed sets of various exercises utilizing multiple fitness tools.

Small Group Cardio Training

When: Friday

Time: 12:15pm-12:45pm

Instructor: Gayle O’Connor / Tabitha Stills

Description: Join Gale and Tabby for 30-minutes of small group training including a variety of cardio equipment. 1-5 people per group will experience warm-up, conditioning and cool down phases. Please register to reserve equipment.

 

All classes are taught by certified instructors and can accommodate all fitness levels.
