Experience for Life.
Purdue University Calumet is a recognized leader in experiential education. It is one of the few universities in the nation that gives all students the opportunity to build Experiential Learning into their curriculum by requiring two courses for graduation.
Representing a true partnership between faculty, student and community partner, Experiential Learning:
- Affords faculty a new and creative approach to teaching and mentoring students.
- Gives students the opportunity to get out of the classroom and apply what they are learning in a real-world setting.
- Gives community partners the opportunity to both help their business as well as share their expertise.
