Summer pre-med and pre-health courses
Medical and healthcare professional schools require applicants to take specific prerequisite courses for admission to their programs. Many strongly recommend taking these at accredited 4-year institutions. Whether you are investigating a career change, or trying to lighten your regular school year load with some useful summer courses, Purdue Calumet can help you succeed. The following common pre-health courses are being offered this summer* through the School of Engineering, Mathematics, and Science:
Biological Sciences
- Introduction to Microbiology
Chemistry & Physics
- General Chemistry I and II with labs
- Organic Chemistry I and II with lab
- General Physics I and II
Mathematics, Computer Science, and Statistics
- Algebra and Trigonometry I and II
- Integrated Calculus Analytical Geometry I and II
