Choose any 30000 level or higher biology elective courses (except BIOL 33000 Biostatistics). Maximum 3 credits in independent research/studies, practicum/ internship can be used for this requirement.
1 Without applying for a specific biology concentration (Biotechnology, Ecology, Microbiology, or Physiology/ Cell Biology), Biology students are placed in the General Biology concentration which will appear on the transcript.

3 BIOL 35700 may be replaced by BIOL 21400 Human Anatomy and Physiology II. BIOL 21300 Human Anatomy and Physiology I, a prerequisite of BIOL 21400 can be used as a free elective.
